This weeks challenge at I Heart Faces is "From a Distance"

I have shared this photo before but it is one of my favorite distant shots and also one that I really enjoy of my oldest.
I think this pretty much represents what he feels like these days.
He is about to turn twelve next week, so he is at an age where he has absolutely nothing in common with his younger siblings anymore.
Or me and his dad most days.
It can get difficult, and sometimes downright painful, for everyone.
I think he can sometimes feel pretty isolated.
Growing up can be really hard.
But it can also be really awesome and I am so proud of the young man he is turning into.
