Finding Bluebonnets

I have been wanting to find a good bluebonnet spot for pictures for a couple of weeks now. But they are really elusive any I haven't had any luck. So we went to the one spot that I knew would probably have them. The church in Crowley. They were there every year that we lived there, and somewhere,  I even have pictures of the boys in that patch about 6 years ago.

Me and Annabelle (and Teddy) headed that way this morning in the hopes that they were still there.
Thankfully they were there, but unfortunately, the church parking lot was full. The church was packed. Not sure why. But I tried to inconspicuously squeeze the big Suburban into an empty space. We got out and headed straight for the bluebonnets in front of us, not looking toward the front of the church, which is awfully full of windows. I'm pretty sure everyone in there was looking. So we just quickly took some pictures before someone came out to tell us to leave or to stop being disrespectful or called the cops on us for trespassing.

I wish we would have had more time to relax and get more shots. I might have to go back another day, like a Tuesday, in the evening, when it's less likely to be so crowded. And we don't have an audience.
