There is beauty in the world.

We went to the Main Street Arts Festival last Thursday to see one of my photos that was on display. I have not been to the festival in years. I remembered it as a herd of people moving through downtown and I couldn't see a thing except peoples backs. Very frustrating. But I pretty much had to put all that aside and go because I wasn't about to miss out on seeing my photo somewhere in public! Put there by someone other than myself!

I remember every time we go downtown that I am in love with Fort Worth.  It is classy and full of history.

There is never a shortage of people watching.

Throw in a festival of some sort and those people get really interesting.

The art was amazing. Every single bit of it. There was something for everyone.

The children even got to make some art for themselves. It was funny because Ayden didn't even want to go to the Arts Festival but as soon as he learned he could create something he was ready to go.

The people that ran the children's section were amazing. Seriously, just a bunch of really awesome people all around. I could have just hung out with them the whole time and been fine with that.

Especially this guy. He was great.

These are my kind of people.

There was some pretty impressive live entertainment. These guys are crazy strong.

Annabelle got her face painted. It was the best face painting job I have ever seen. She was blown away when he gave her the mirror. I think she didn't recognize herself. Then she spent the rest of the day only talking in "meow" and hissing at and scratching her brothers.

Is there anything cooler than sand art?

                                                                    and CLAY?!

I wish I could live here for a week.

The atmosphere is happy.

I'm not even sure what this building is but this is where I would sleep if I did live here for a week.

I love this store. Just sayin'

Seriously the architecture. I love it.

The news was broadcasting from there!

Theres me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Right in the middle of some really amazing talent.

Mimi and Kevin! Kevin got the turkey leg goodness he had been waiting for.

This is a Public Service Announcement: Leggings are NOT pants. Thank you.

I want to live right here too.

These artists are from all over the nation and they are crazy gifted.

I love my home town.

And this beautiful work right here was our car ride home. I think the sky was participating in the Arts Festival.
